I took requipt for a couple of months. It was the first med that finally got me off sinemet after numerous other attempts with many meds. I've been treated by a neurologist knowledgeable in RLS for a few years now. It worked great for the RLS but I developed central apnea as a side effect. I was switched to Mirapex which is a similar classification. Still some apnea but gradually lessening as I learn to tolerate the drug. Haven't heard of anyone else with similar side effect, so I would guess you have a good chance of success with requip.
