My other half has been suffering from RLS for years. He often wishes he could cut his legs off. The sensation is with him during the day, but at an acceptable level. But the evenings just kill him. Sometimes smoking cannabis helps, he's been to the doctors and taken medication which is associated with RLS but has found that this makes him very sleepy but doesn't cure the restless legs! However he has recently been to the doctors for a trapped nerve in his back and was given the medication Tylex for this condition. He was supposed to take 2 every four hours, but takes one before he goes to bed and has found that they take the aching, creeping sensations away from his legs, leaving his head clear and therefore getting a good nights sleep.
