Posted by Ace on September 05, 2001 at 09:42:46:Ok, nice to have found this forum....I've been a "visitor" over on the CPAP forum for about two years and now find it's time to broach a new subject here....
Why is it that when I go to bed at night, that I can be relaxing very comfortably with absolutely no RLS symptoms (mine typically are limited to the creepy crawlies in the feet and toes), and then I happen to make the mistake of bringing RLS to my mind, and WHAM! I start experiencing RLS!!?? Now I almost fear thinking about RLS, although I can't sem to induce it during restful times during the day. I've read all the literature on the RLS Foundation pages and don't see this attribute of the problem mentioned. Anyone else ever experienced this? My symptoms are basically limited to nightime/bedtime and on long airline flights; never noticed during daytime naps or periods of stillness. Thanks for any insight you may have. By the way, allergy season (now) seems to make things worse what with decongestants and antihistamines.... I know that these are known to contribute to RLS, so I'm limiting myself to NasalCrom spray (non-prescription) and this product really helps. Down with RLS! Ace
