After taking Sinamet for a couple of years and enjoying the benefits at first but then suffering some side affects and loss of effectiveness for almost 2 years I have been taking half a tab of Mirapex .25mg before bedtime and am now sleeping very well. A whole tab doesn't seem to work any better. At first, I had some insomnia (it seemed to perk me up) and also I tried not taking it every night but had a bout of depression and poor sleeping, so I take it faithfully and am doing well. I don't know why your doctor prescribed it 3 times a day.
