You are not wierd at all. You have (RLS) Restless Leg Syndrome. I have tried numerous medications and am now on Mirapex, which works. I have had this for 20 years and am so happy it has been recognized as RLS and heard there are 10 million of us out there,so don't feel alone. I hope in our lifetime someone discovers the cause. In the mean time there should be support groups if even just on the inter net, to let people know we are out there and looking for results. Of all the problems I have had, this one drove me nuts. I suffered for hours at a time, left movies, plays, etc., sat on the aisle so I could make a quick exit. With Mirapex I only get it once or twice a month. I do have to up the doseage every so often but am no where near the limit. Maybe by that time something else will be out. It is now taken more seriously by the medical profession. Doctors used to look at me like a psyco case or just a case of nerves. If only they experienced the symptoms just once......
Good luck to all of you and keep trying till you find the med. that works for you.
