I started on zoloft in August at 50mg and was increased to 100mg. I am just learning about RLS, but it seems to me it has become much worse since the zoloft increased. I get to bed and within 10 minutes just have to keep moving my legs. It drives me and my H nuts. My H was just diagnosed with OSA and will be getting treatment for that. I am worried about the noise of the machine. I don't even like "white noise" and hate it when the tv is on. HIs snoring caused me to finally get my own bedroom about 2 years ago after years and years of me traipsing around the house at night trying to find a place to sleep in peace. BAD idea...He ended up having an affair--thus the zoloft for me. Thankfully we are working it out.
The other night he left the room, saying I was disturbing his sleep by kicking all night and snoring myself. I think probably because I had taken a xanax. Initially my Dr. told me to take the zoloft in the evening ,but I have found that that keeps me awake. I have a long history of insomnia, but always thought it was "just life".. I'm a very light sleeper and wake up when my kids cry out, or whatever. (Son sleepwalks so I am always aware of his movements even from across the house. I have been trying not to take the xanax but sometimes it is the only way I can get to sleep. The whole situation seems hopeless at times. H wants to snuggle with someone at night. I want sleep, he wants sleep. I am pretty used to not much sleep but sometimes it gets to you.
