SOLUTION for Restless Leg Syndrom--RUBBING ALCOHOL

Posted by Rob Conley on July 30, 2002 at 12:07:41:

I have tried many medications for RLS. None seemed to work. I would fall asleep faster, yet I would continue to wake up with my legs hurting or twitching preventing me from a restful sleep. I have tried everything and I noticed, believe it or not RUBBING ALCOHOL seems to work. When i experince nights where my legs are very 'restless', which i am sure all of you know what I am talking about. Take the time to rub in RUBBING ALCOHOL on your legs. Somehow the evaporation and coolness from the rubbing alcohol is the perfect solution for my RLS. It is very calming to my legs and very cool and soothing which thus helps me fall asleep before my legs act up. TRY IT!!!! Please let me know what you think, and reply to this message to let everyone know if it has worked for you guys as well as it does for me.
