It certainly sounds like RLS to me (but I'm not a dr.).

Some cases of RLS are caused by low iron-levels (either due to diet or more because your body isn't storing iron properly). The thing to check is if your ferritin level is less than 50mcg/L (something that dr.s don't necessarily check for unless you specifically request).

You shouldn't take iron supplements on your own w/o talking to your dr. first! Too much iron can be dangerous.
