I have the same thing. The doctor diagnosed me with Myoclonic Jerking. He put me on medication for anxiety, that worked somewhat, but he said it can be addictive, so I took myself off. I can also tell I'm going to have a "session". Out of the clear blue, I'll just get really tired, to where I can't keep my eyes open. Nausea sets in and weakness in my right arm and leg. My foot jerks and then starts to shake. Then it's like I get an electrical shock and my whole body will jerk and then shake. Mine usually happens during the early evening. It doesn't affect my sleeping. I'm wide awake and aware of the whole incident.
