Do I have a disorder?

Posted by sleeping violet on September 24, 2002 at 17:21:22:

I'm not quite sure I have a disorder or not, but starting to think so. I took the sleep test and it said I had symptoms of Insomnia, apnea, and a few others. Here are my symptoms, I am tired all the time. I want to sleep any chance I get. I take frequent naps, and they last more than 2-3 hours, therefore I dont sleep well that night. I also find that I cant keep my legs still. Lately I have been waking up with sore leg muscles. I have a recent history (a year) of lower back problems due to lifting something, and I would experience pain down the leg due to a pinched nerve. I am not sure the leg pain I have is due to that or having restless legs. I also experience a wierd feeling if I am woken up suddenly. It feels like the bed, or chair, (whatever I am sleeping on) is shaking uncontrollably, and my heart is racing. I found that it was me who was shaking so bad. What is this? And does anyone think this is a disorder?
