Posted by rae on September 26, 2002 at 20:28:29:Hi,I'm new to this forum, I got diagnosed with plmd Monday, following a sleep test. I also have sleep apnea, which is treated. Question, can plmd cause low rem? I had 1.1% during the test which is pretty low. Grateful to hear if anyone knows. I took Ambien for the sleep test, because I have trouble sleeping and my sleep lab doesn't do 24 hour tests, so in order to fit their schedule I took ambien three times during the night, total 20 mg.Hope I'm asking these questions on the right forum. If not, let me know! Glad you're all here. I'd never heard of PLMD til Monday and feeling quite confused...getting quite a tally of disorders and I used to be pretty healthy!
