Self-hypnosis or meditation was very helpful for me regarding anxiety. It was most helpful when I went to a good meditation/deep-relaxation instructor. A few minutes at a time was not helpful, but when I got to the point of being able to do it for 20 minutes to an hour at a time, two to three times a day, I felt less anxious all the time. I know it sounds like a lot, but the benefits are great.
