Hi, Yes, Lexapro and other medications in the Serotonin Re-uptake inhibitor class have definately made my RLS and PLMD much worse. But at this time I really need the Lexapro as I became very depressed. Right now I am taking it MWF instead of every day and it seems to help a little. The RLS PLMD is MUCH better without it, however.
You probably need to 1)decide with your medical person how badly you need the Lexapro, and 2) if you do need it see if they will help you work with the dosing schedule.
If you go to the RLS Foundation site it specifically mentions that this kind of medication can cause problems for us.
