I will be going for that test along with B12 and magnesium levels. I will keep you posted of my progress. One doctor told me he thought I had thalasemia and a low intrinsic factor. Neither test proved positive. Everyone in my family has a low iron level. Couple that with being Italian and having mediterranian genes, I am doomed.
