PLMs worse during REM???

Hello,

Does anyone here know if it is normal to have more PLMs during REM than any other stage?
My last sleep study revealed the following:

PLM INDEX
Total Sleep: 25.4
Stage 1: 37.0
Stage 2: 17.8
Stage 3: 0
Stage 4: 0
REM: 94.9 (???)

I also didn't reach stages 3 and 4 but that is a result of my depression.

I'm kind of confused about the 94.9 index in REM.

I always thought PLMs only occurred in
any sleep stage "excluding" REM.

Any opinions on this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot.
