The gravitational effect of a piece of furniture in your bedroom is greater than the moon, so I doubt it has anything to do with it.

If it was the moon, I'd be more inclined to think it was the light affecting sleep. Some people are particularly sensitive to light at night.

My guess would be your physical cycle (Men AND women) affected by hormones that are very close to the moon cycle (about 29 days). You might have to go a year or two to notice a shifting.
