Left or right legs movements will vary from night to night. Many labs put both legs on one channel since it doesn't really matter which leg is moving. If they are recorded separately and both legs move at the same they not counted as separate leg movements, they are counted are one movement, and this tech may have decided to just count them all as right leg.

UARS is very difficult to diagnose without putting a tube down into your esophagus. So many labs miss it, and PLMS may show up as a result of UARS. If this is the case, treatment of UARS will cure the leg movements.

It is also not uncommon to have more than one disorder going on.

You may want to make a audio/video recording of your breathing during sleep. You may be able to detect UARS by listening to snoring levels increase and decrease during the night plus any extra effort to breath may be picked up by the video.

Bottom line it could be PLMS, so if you are treated for it and they go away and you feel refreshed in the morning you can probably rule out UARS for now.

Best wishes,
Sandman
