Yes this can be very damaging to your liver, especially if you take any other medications or drink socially.

I recommend visiting your doctor to get a proper sleeping pill ie. lorazepam, triazolam, zopiclone
or an appropriate anxiolytic/antidepressant which is ever the case. - a concerned pharmacist
