Yeah, as a matter of fact we DO have a union ... the last 3-yr union contract actually negotiated this Mess.

All the people on shifts 'A', 'B', and 'C' really like it because it gives them a better work week (or at least arguably better). And for some reason I dont understand, even a lot of the 'D' shift people seem to want it. I think they just haven't read the Contract very carefully yet.

Plus, there are "Rumors" going aroubnd that if we don't vote for it they're going to shut the plant down (TOTALLY false -- BUT... thye plant WAS just bought out by a new HUGE company with many times the market share that our old company had. And they have said outright that the SAFETY record MUST improve or they WILL shut us down.

I don't see how this cokamamee schedule is going to contribute to an IMPROVED Safety Record, If anything I predict it will get worse...

PS Yes I know cokamamee isn't spelled that way but the program kept telling me that my language wasn't suitable for posting when I spelled it right. Geee, I wonder what would happen if I was talking about Pheasant Hunting & wanted to tell you that the bird I shot wasn't a hen, it was a ....

Blah.
