Awake Alex is giving you some good advice but a lot has to do with you off-job situation and how you handle sleep on your work days.

If you haven't worked shifts before try to keep nearly the same sleep-wake schedule you keep for work for a few weeks before venturing out. Give yourself some time get accustomed to the twilighty feeling. You have entered the twilight zone of an alternative reality.

From now on your real job will be to stay healthy and stay connected with friends and family. Good Luck.
