If your husband is driving 18-20 hours per day he is not only exhausting himself, he is also breaking the law. I'm not sure of the exact hours, but there is a set maximum number of hours a trucker can drive before having a set minimum number of hours of "rest," or as much rest as one can get in a truck stop, motel, etc. His body is trying to play catch-up on weekends and it will never work. If he is only catching one hour naps along the road, then I think it is not overly dramatic to say that he is playing a game with death every day. You're lucky to have a live husband, much less an "alive" one. Ask him about the hourly requirements. If he has a CDL, then he must already know the rules. They are there for a reason.
