Don't duck the truth. Even jet-lag is a health issue. The fact that you are seeking a regular job after a year of free lancing is a flag. Delayed sleep phase coupled with depression could produce the effect you're describing. Been there about a hundred years ago. The job with normal hours and the steady income might be the cure but I recommend a head doc, knowledgable about sleep and not too quick with the pills.

There are pill co(c)ktails (treatments) that can nudge your sleep schedule but I'd look for the underlying cause first or at least at the same time. Light exposure and exercise can also nudge your sleep schedule around.

Good luck on the new job.
