Group trying to work out best possible roster

Posted by Chez Y on July 09, 2000 at 11:27:52:

I am part of a group of people who work for a .com (24 hrs) company. We currently work 12 hr shifts (4 days on/4 days off) 4 weeks of nights(7pm-7am)/4 weeks of days(7am-7pm). The group wants to trial doing 1 week nights/1 week days/1 week nights/1 week days(a months trial) This sounds horrendous to me after reading the messages on this page. I am (being'older') doing it tough getting used to night shift for first time in my life (that's putting it mildly!)We will hold a vote soon to determine our roster. Can anyone offer some advise?
