Mentioning your boss and behavioral health in the same posting seems like a total contradiction. No matter what you do, with your hours being jumped around like that and having your sleep time suddenly and irregularly restricted no sleep recommendations will help. Just stay away from pills and don't get into a car wreck.

If you do get into a car wreck make sure you've kept a detailed sleep log and give it to a mean lawyer that will sue the SOAB.

I assume this is a job and not resident training or some other brutal and uneccessary right of passage. The best I can suggest is for you to curl up and sleep under your boss's desk like the dog he's treating you like. That way he can give you a kick every so often.
