Wow! And I think that I have problems. It sounds like hell to me and I can see why you are reaching out for help. But I don't know if this is the right forum to seek it in. Most of the people on this forum are lay people without the medical background to give advice you might need.

Short of advising you to quit the drugs, booze and shiftwork which is a no brainer there's not much advise most of the people on this forum could offer. That and keeping a sleep log to take to a doc and try to establish what your natural sleep looks like is the best advice I can offer.

One thing I'd like to know is if your sleep pattern is directly related to your shift work that led you to try weed and booze to self medicate or if the sleep pattern and the weed and booze are preexisting conditions. Whatever, take yourself to a doc and take my good wishes with you.
