Rotating shifts and health

Posted by bcsteamer on January 17, 2001 at 15:15:24:

I am working on having our union do something about the rotating shifts that we change every 28 days. I work in a correctional center and have been working these shifts for 22 years and find that my sick time is increasing as is the sick time for other employees and our employer is beginning to take disciplinary action against staff who are sick "too much" Any information anyone can provide would be greatly appeciated
