Compensating shiftworkers in CBA'a

I work at a chem plant in Canada, with 24/7/365 coverage. We are entering into bargaining for a new contract, and are considering asking for extra vacation or extra credit towards early retirement for shiftworkers. (eg. 5yrs shift = 6 yrs toward full pension). Does anyone know of packages like this in place anywhere?
