Working 12 hours lets you. ..

get more done on the job.
work fewer days per year.
have more weekends to spend w/ family.
improves morale on the job.
reduces wear and tear on your vehicle.

Working 8 hours. . .

7 straight nightshifts is bad for your body (I should know, I do it monthly)
gives you only one weekend off per month.
gives you less time with family.
etc.
etc.
etc

I currently work 8's and would love to get on 12's.
