I work for a police dept as a dispatcher. We are going to 12 hour shifts shortly. (2 days/2 nights 4 off) Alot of people are married to people at work, both other dispatchers and police officers. If they work opposite for child care reasons, they would never have a day off together. Does anyone have any suggestions or is anyone's employer doing something to help people in this situation?
