12 hr. shift options

Posted by bagged nurses on August 25, 2002 at 12:36:16:

We are on a 4 team 12 hr. mirror rotation with 2 wks. of nites and 2 wks. of days. Without adding resources or more staff are there better options in fighting fatigue. Here is our schedule as of present. WTF days, SS off, MT days, WTF off, SS days, MT nites, WT off, FSS nites, MT off, WT nites and FSSMT off and then repeat. We would be grateful for any help particularly in reducing the week where we work 7 shifts in 9 days. Thanks
