G'day,
We work 70hr/fortnight. Over 8/10wks it adds up to the same hrs.
Each team consists of 2 staff.
R=Rest
A=Morning Shift
P=Afternoon Shift
N=Graveyard Shift

4ON4OFF

SMTWTFS/SMTWTFS/SMTWTFS/SMTWTFS/(8wks full)
TeamA=RAAAARR/RRNNNNR/RRRPPPP/RRRRNNN/(pattern is A,N,P,N,etc)
RPPPPRR/RRNNNNR/RRRAAAA/RRRRNNN/(pattern is P,N,A,N,etc)

TeamB=RNNNNRR/RRAAAAR/RRRNNNN/RRRRPPP/
RNNNNRR/RRPPPPR/RRRNNNN/RRRRAAA/

TeamC=NRRRRAA/AARRRRN/NNNRRRR/PPPPRRR/
NRRRRPP/PPRRRRN/NNNRRRR/AAAARRR/

TeamD=PRRRRNN/NNRRRRA/AAARRRR/NNNNRRR/
ARRRRNN/NNRRRRP/PPPRRRR/NNNNRRR/

Hours we've suggested is
A=07:00-17:30
P=12:30-23:00
N=20:30-07:00 with half an hour meal break. You can play around with the times, changing it to 1 hr meal break etc.

5ON5OFF
Same format, just add one extra day when working and resting. That one runs for 10wks. Both are rotating rosters, so everyone will know when they're working months in advance.
