Have you considered a 5-crew 12-hour shift i.e. 4 crews work typical 24/7 rotation but on the 5th week of the cycle, each crew works a straight 40-hour shift or flex shift. This flex shift could be slotted between two weeks of days so that overall, you could work two weeks on 12-hour nights, then three weeks basically on days. This would give your circadian cycles rest time, every-other-weekend off.
