I have found sleeping pills are a very bad way to go. I did build a tolerence to them, and going off them was hard for sleeping as well. Adding more than one could double the trouble. Have you tried other methods? Chamomille tea was helpfull in falling asleep for me.Gravol is also good, but can make you dependant too. Go cautiosly. I too have had the running thoughts while the boby is exausted. From what I hear it is not unusual. Good luck as you proceed. How about tapes of rain falling, or seashore playing in the background. If I have something to focus on it hleps me drop off. Again...good luck..
