12 hour shift with seven days off

Looking at a new place to work that has straight 12-hour shifts. They do a pattern (unknown) that includes 7 days off.

Does anyone know what that pattern could be?

Has anyone worked one? Just seems it would either be hard to come back from seven days off all the time or the opposite extreme that one maybe would become bored stiff after the ninth or tenth seven day off stretch.

Thanks for any info. Just hoping to ease going into the unknown.
