well splitting days off is a no no! I manage a sleep facility we work 4 11hr shifts so we also have 3 days off. we have 5 night shift employees. We usually rotate mon-thurs for 3 employees one week while the other 2 work thurs-sun then they switch! it stinks since you end up working a lot of days in a row but you get 6 days off to rest! it works for us and the employees love it! hope it helped
