I just found this forum...I've been trying to find more detailed info on 3rd shift workers & relationships too. I'm on my 3rd week of 3rd shift. I've been a 1st shifter forever but daycare became too expensive. I wish I could get more sleep but I have a 6month old & a 3 month old at home. I take 1-2 "naps" during the day & get most of my sleep when my dh comes home. My dh hates that I work 3rd. Surprisingly, I love 3rd. I love that it's quieter even when it's busy. I'm also wondering if there's a difference when the husband works nights compared to when the wife does.
