I currently work at a 911 disp. office and we cover 24/7 365 8 hour shifts with 4 dispatchers (one disp per shift)

We work Wed thru Tue 1600-2400
off Wed and Thurs
Friday thru Thurs 0800-1600
off Friday
Sat thru Friday 2400-0800
off Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues start back wed at 1600

so 24/7 365 working 8 hour shifts can be done.
