I've always been told that you should rotate shift work schedules in a clockwise direction, not counter clockwise. It makes it easier for the body to adjust.

It is similar to jet-lag. It is easier to fly east and stay up later than it is to fly west and try to go to bed earlier. Our circadian rhythm is slightly longer than 24 hours so making a day longer is easier than making it shorter.

Just a thought and I'm not a professional when it comes to shift work and not sure how having days off like yours would effect the circadian rhythm.

Best wishes,
Sandman
