Hi all,

We have a current rota that covers 24/7 with 6 people on 8 hours per shift. There is only one person per shift and we are very worried about this. We would like to change the rota in order to be two people per shift.

At the moment we have a very good rota of 6 days on and 4 off and 6 cover days, in order to cover holidays or sickness (m: morning, a: afternoon, n: night, c: cover):

And it repeats every 36 days.

I know that to have 2 people per shift, I need 6 more people, but our boss hasn't approved it. Do you know if there is any possibility to incorporate 2-3 people to this rota at least for the afternoon and night shifts?

Do you have any idea of how to implement a new rota with 9 people?
