It is called sleep deprivation. It accumulates over time so you can be carrying a big sleep debt.
Only fix is to get more sleep. Seems like you need to get to sleep earlier. There isn't a specific technique to get to sleep earlier that works for everyone, we are all different.
You should check out some on the insomnia forum and see which one works for you. If you don't find what you are looking for, post your question there. You will get lots of feedback.
