National Sleep Awareness
Week is upon us again. This year many new events are being planned
and Sleepnet.com wishes for the best.
- News Conference, Tuesday,
March 28 at 9 a.m. Scheduled panelists include William C. Dement,
MD, Ph.D., of Stanford University, Mary Carskadon, Ph.D., of
Brown University, and Dennis Holland, Ph.D.. The conference
will be held at 9 a.m. at the National Press Club in Washington,
DC.
- 2000 Healthy Sleep Capital of the
Nation Award which is being presented for the second
time, will be announce at the News Conference.
- Presidential Proclamation:
President Clinton has officially recognized National Sleep Awareness
Week.
