I just want to add, that I fell very strongly that if you were to call some sleep labs and tell them you are very interested in being a sleep tech and would like to be trained, in other words ......sell yourself, you would get an offer.
However, the pay for trainees may not be good, but as you become experienced and get your crendential, your pay will rise a lot.
Check out salary.com for pay in your area.
Choose healthcare techincian first to find polysomnography tech.
