I took my exam in Baltimore and I felt the exam was not very difficult. It seemed the exam was structured in a way that would better suit those that work in hospital based labs and those with a respiratory background. I can understand how an OJT working in an IDTF could easily fail. So many questions on HIPPA, Fire Safety, and Right-To-Know. These mandatories tend to be focused on in greater detail if you work in a hospital environment. Alot of general respiratory care type questions too. I felt like it was a refresher for respiratory students rather than a national registry exam for sleep. Don't get me wrong, I'm not mad. As a matter of fact, I hope the recert test will be the same for me in ten years!!!! I'll post to let you know how I did too. Who knows, maybe they tricked us into a false confidence. We'll know in four weeks. Good luck to everyone.
