The problem with Control III is that it says on the side of the bottle that it is not tuberculocidal, which means I guess it does not kill tuberculosis and as such is inadequate for use in a clinical setting. Also states on the side of the bottle it should not be used on equipment that comes in contact with mucosal tissue, so it may be adequate for cleaning tubings but should not be used on the nasal interfaces like CPAP masks.... Control III for this reason is not recommended for cleaning equipment in the hospital or laboratory settings. Control III is more for home use occasionally and was not designed for "industrial" use so to speak as in a sleep lab.
