What is your labs AHI/RDI criteria

Posted by David Rimoldi on May 18, 2001 at 07:17:46:

Hey fellow techs. We are reevaluating our criteria for justifying preforming a SPLIT night study during the initial visit to the sleep center. Right now our AHI required to justify CPAP TX is 30/hr. I have heard that this number is way too high and that most labs use and AHI of 15-20 to justiy doing a SPLIT study. Please give me your feedback about your lab protocols and any documentation you use to justify your criteria. Thanks
