Posted by Dan Custer on June 13, 2001 at 11:25:22:I'm seeking information on PSG definition of apneas and hyponeas in clinical studies using thermistors/thermocouples and piezo belts. Are labs now defining apnea as total cessation of airflow, 50% reduction of airflow, 70% reduction of arirflow? Have flow transducers affected your definition? Is there a good journal article with appropriate clinical definitions? Thanks for your help.
