Ours depends a lot on the patient's level of sleepiness as measured by the Epworth scale. If it is way out of proportion to the number of events we will often proceed. However, as a general rule we do not run studies on patient's that have an RDI (including RERA) of 20 or greater. A high disruptive PLMS index is even harder to judge. Good luck.
