Yikes! I would be very hesitant about getting myself involved in a lab that is run like that, especially if you're going to have to work on the AASM accreditation application. The AASM expects the physicians to be very involved and it's my understanding that the physicians MUST review the raw data from every study.
I've worked in several different sleep centers and the interpreting physicians have always made the decision on what positive-airway-pressure the patients would most likely do best with. The sleep techs are there to give the physicians a choice in various pressures, not order the treatment itself.
