You didn't mention the patient's height, age, or history, but I would also think CHF/diuretic, as Steve so politely said. Room air sats at 80% while the patient is awake suggests something else is going on that won't be fixed in a sleep lab. BiPAP S/T with O2 can only help so much with this type of patient.
