I just went through my site visit, and there was no mention of cpap interfaces at all. I reuse my masks disinfecting them between uses with a hospital type spray cleaner and rinsing with water. I weekly wash the mask and headgear in a bleach solution. This process was detailed in my aasm application, and as I said, there was no mention of it during the visit. Another site visit team could look at it closer. I know labs that reuse and labs that send them home. If you disinfect properly between patients, I don't think there should be any aasm problems. Some manufacturers have programs for labs, but I know that some of them are based on the size and volume of your lab. I don't know that I would rely on the DME to replace your masks.
